When you submit the enquiry form, the following is collected: your name, your email address, the enquiry type you select, an optional subject line, and the message you write.

No account is created, no payment details are handled on this website, and no data is collected about you if you simply browse the pages.

The information is used for one purpose only: to read and reply to your enquiry about an artwork, a commission, a studio visit or a press request. The legal basis is legitimate interest in responding to a message you initiated, and, where an enquiry leads to a purchase or commission, the steps taken at your request prior to entering an agreement.

Your details are never sold, rented, or used for marketing or newsletters.

A submitted enquiry is delivered by email to the studio inbox and a courtesy confirmation is sent back to you. The message is transmitted through Lovable's managed email service, which handles delivery on the studio's behalf. The enquiry is not stored in a website database, and the website keeps no visitor profile.

The form applies basic anti-spam measures, including a hidden field and a short-lived, in-memory rate limit based on the requesting IP address. That rate-limit record is temporary, is not written to disk, and is not used to identify you.

Enquiry emails are kept in the studio inbox for as long as needed to handle the conversation and any resulting sale or commission, and are deleted when they are no longer relevant. You may ask for your correspondence to be deleted at any time.

The website is hosted and delivered by Lovable, which also provides the managed email service used for enquiry delivery. Delivery of the site passes through Cloudflare, which operates the content delivery and security layer in front of the website and processes your IP address and request data for that purpose. Typefaces are loaded from Google Fonts, which means your browser requests the font files from Google's servers and Google receives your IP address as part of that request.

No analytics, advertising, tracking or social media pixels are used on this website.

This website uses no analytics, advertising or tracking cookies, and nothing is stored in your browser for the purpose of recognising you or building a profile.

During a normal visit two strictly necessary first-party cookies may be set. __cf_bm is placed by Cloudflare, which delivers and protects the site; it distinguishes human visitors from automated traffic, expires after about thirty minutes, and cannot be read by scripts on the page. __dpl is set by the hosting platform and records which version of the website your browser received, so that pages and assets stay in sync. Neither contains marketing data or is used for cross-site tracking.

Your browser also keeps a short-lived entry in session storage (tsr-scroll-restoration) so a page returns to your previous scroll position. It stays on your device and is cleared when you close the tab.

Because these are strictly necessary for the secure delivery and basic functioning of the website, they do not require consent, and no cookie banner is shown. Should any non-essential cookie ever be introduced, your consent would be requested first.

Under the General Data Protection Regulation you have the right to request access to the personal data held about you, to have it corrected or erased, to restrict or object to its processing, and to receive it in a portable form. To exercise any of these rights, write to info@sedef.se.

If you believe your data has been handled improperly, you may lodge a complaint with the Swedish Authority for Privacy Protection (Integritetsskyddsmyndigheten).
